Compass and points list
  • Click the compass to mark current position (create a new point of interest - POI).
  • The crosshairs on a compass mark several points of interest nearest to your position. The points list displays names for these points.
  • The compass is crossed out if no heading information is available. This happens if the speed is below certain limit, configurable in GPS device settings.
  • The scale is dynamic based on your speed. The compass circle radius is 100 meters or equivalent to one minute of travel with current speed, whichever is greater.
  • If you are following the track, the track is displayed in blue.
  • If a target point is selected, red line indicates the direction to that point.
Coordinate panel
Two modes are available for the compass panel. Clicking the panel switches between these modes.
  • Coordinate mode provides
    • Latitude and longtitude
    • Altitude above mean sea level (AMSL)
  • Movement mode (as illustrated on a screenshot) provides
    • Heading (degrees true)
    • Speed
    • Distance to the end of track (in blue), if there is a track selected, or direct travel distance to the selected point (in red).
