Octoox alerts
If something happens which needs your attention, Octoox will display an apropriate alert in a topmost section of screen.
  • Only one alert can be displayed. If two alerts go off simultaneuosly, you only get higher priority one.
  • Most alerts have sounds associated with them.
  • Sounds are supressed for 60 seconds when you start Octoox. This allows GPS receiver to establish a fix, eliminating unnecessary alarm.
  • The alerts are color-coded.
